Process heaters for direct heat transfer

In fired process heaters the heating energy is supplied in a more direct manner, the gas or liquid process medium being brought to the desired temperature in the heater itself. These systems have been developed as single, two- and three-pass designs, and are used mainly in refineries and chemical plants.

These heaters or systems can also be constructed to an in-line design for all types of thermal oil; especially useful when site conditions call for a small system footprint.
